Creating Employment Opportunities
Program Intent:
- Empower neurodivergent individuals with training in barista and baking skills in cafes or bakeries alongside other neurotypical colleagues
- Create inclusive opportunities for education, work and other life skills for neurodivergent individuals through partnerships with local businesses
Program Flow:
- The Baking program aims to teach cake baking and decoration, providing the opportunity to assist a baker.
- Individuals undergo 1-1 training in Baking or Barista based on interest, with the Barista program focusing on mastering the creation of 8 coffee varieties.
- After training, job assistance or self-employment opportunities are offered for a fee.

- Our approach focuses on understanding individuals through a discovery process, identifying intrinsic motivations. We collaborate with employers in the candidate's area of interest to create customized job profiles.
